Isn’t sad to think that you should be the one in his/her place?

Thinking that maybe, just maybe, you two would’ve been perfect for each other. You should be the one talking to him/her everyday. You should be the one laughing at his/her jokes. You should be the one who’s treating him/her sweetly. You should be the one telling him/her those three magical words — I love you. It’s sad, really… Sometimes, I feel a pang of jealousy in my system whenever I think of this stupid thought. And whenever I think of you, all the memories we had play rewind every single time. Why can’t it be just us?
